Model 168
Salon Grand
Description
We do not regard our model
168cm grand as a ‘baby grand’
as it is much bigger than its 168
cm would make you believe. Its
sustaining power and tonal volume
make it a big surprise in this class.
In physical terms, this can be attributed
to the model 168’s unusual shape, which
permits very long bass strings and a large
soundboard area.
Thanks to a sophisticated action with Herzspring
levers and an extravagant keyboard with
ebony sharps, this is a truly professional grand.
The basic version is Model 168 N Classical with three
pedals (sostenuto), three lid props and brass castors.
There are countless variations available, ranging from the
Classicist and Renaissance to the Baroque and Rococco,
the rim of which has a sweeping lower edge. Photographs of
all these styles are available upon request.
